A new adventure: Entering the world of blogging.

Being so far away from home and our families and friends, we've decided it is time to finally join the blogging world. We want everyone to be able to share in our adventures and see what our life together is like. We try to make the most out of every day together and hope you have fun seeing the fun we have!
We'll start by sharing our most recent weekend filled with an exciting hike.

We went hiking at Bear Canyon Park...don't worry, no bears were seen- but there were signs warning us of Mountain Lions! yikes!

For those of you who don't know, this is Rocky, our wolf. Well, atleast that's what Keith calls him. I, on the other hand think of him as my sweet baby boy. Really, he is a Heeler/Lab/Canaan/Dingo. Okay, so we don't know extactly what he is since we adopted him from a shelter, but we do know one thing- he is a loving puppy who we can't imagine being without!

He is a great companion and LOVES going on hikes with us (maybe he'll protect us from those Mountain Lions!) Rocky decided he needed a break and laid down in the first bit of shade he could find:

Along the hike we also saw some really pretty flowers and other fun desert plants

Okay, so maybe not the most exciting "first blog", but we'll try to work on our skills! Enjoy!
